MICROPLASTICS: A HIDDEN DANGER

MEET THE BROTHERS BEHIND THE CAUSE
My name is Carrick Gill and I live in Glencoe, Illinois. My hobbies include video games, muay thai, football, hiking and cross-country running. I enjoy movies and tv shows and attend New Trier high school. I will be a senior next year and I am excited to learn new things and first learned about the dangers of microplastics when I watched a Good Morning America segment about how microplastics are contaminating our waters and food. I am here to learn more and to pass that along information to everyone because when we know better, we do better.

My name is Connall Gill and I have lived in Glencoe, Illinois for the past 11 years. I have many hobbies but a few include playing water polo, mountain biking, hiking, swimming, video games, and guitar. I grew up visiting my grandparents in California and have a love of nature and our oceans and other bodies of water. I am happiest when I am in the water, outside in the elements and one with nature. I am a sophomore at New Trier High School. I believe it is important to inform people about the dangers in the world today with microplastics being one of the most dangerous.
